old, faded, falling apart, and someone else will salvage the bits and use them

2009 is Done and Dusted and as for 2010..... Bring it On!!

Just about recovered from a fantastic Christmas with family and Sparkly people, parties with the Friday People and quiet times at home with my nearest and dearest. Christmas Decs have been returned to the attic, leftovers eaten (well apart from the nuts because we have lost our nutcrackers) and I am now putting my feet up contemplating what happened in 2009 and what will happen in 2010.
A curates egg describes 2009, good in parts, bad in others but here we are still alive and happy in 2010.
What about 2010??? I'll let you know in 2011, but my aim is not to be walked over and become a better judge of character!
I was going to attempt to be a little bit creative EVERY day, but it's now the 2nd Jan and I haven't even been in my craft room, so that's me fallen at the first hurdle!

Made just one Christmas present, from a wooden blank tissue box I bought from the NEC, one large butterfly stamp and using all the techniques I love. Metal, UTEE, Polymer Clay and Paint.
My Favourite things for my favourite friend

A Few photos of the fantastic time we have had over the Christmas period

So all I have left to say is thank you to everyone who made the Christmas Season so special and much love to all my friends in real life and those of you out in the arty cyber world who are always an inspiration.

Lets make 2010 a good one!

  4. Hi Nicks! Happy new year and you sure do look as if you had a good time at xmas! I'm so not used to seeing snow at xmas - we're in the middle of summer here at the other end of the world. I like the sound of your resolutions - good on ya for stating them. Sometimes it's hard to go public with them. I stated mine on my blog for the first time ever and I plan on having them as part of my header.

    Hi Nicks
Only just catching up from being ill over Christmas, and other things which we won't talk about!
It looks as though you had a joyous Christmas, the slide show is brilliant, and love the candles and plates, clever you and George!
Hope that 2010 is great for you and yours!
