Someday, the altered art you make today will be
old, faded, falling apart, and someone else will salvage the bits and use them
in new altered art. It's the best that any piece of art can hope for

Yey!!! reached a century

100 followers... bless each and everyone of you!
I was just about to offer some candy to the 100th person to become a follower and then up popped Lululiz so I have offered her some 'ole tat' Have a look at her blog, she has some fabbo stuff.

Anyway, what's been occurring today.. started off playing with my sewing machine and then quickly moved onto my soldering iron. My attention span is not long! I haven't played with solder for a while, and was pleased that I haven't lost my touch but I can't show you just yet what I was doing.

But then the postie came with some beautifully packaged goodies from The Altered Element one of my favourite online shops, and amongst other things was some Beeswax.. I haven't used this for a while, and I still don't quite get it, but I still like it (does that make any sense??) Anyway, I made another page for my journal using the wax, and combined it with this weeks Tuesday Taggers challenge  an altered jigsaw bit.

You can't really see the die cut Jigsaw frame but its there.. and there will be some journaling on the back of the page, but its about us all being a part of many different jigsaws and how things would be so very different if we weren't there to complete it, think it all stems from a very poignant moment at my brothers memorial service.

I am enjoying this Journaling lark..... I wonder how many of my favourite techniques I can use in it??

Off to bed now... up early.... housework/chores to do...
then more creating to do and OWOH hopping to do

oh what a 'to do'

  4. Brilliant Nicks - love the journal page - Im fascinated with the beeswax thing but not sure yet how to use if but it does smell so calming when it melts! Soldering - sounds far too complex to me. Thanks for the comments on my blog - I find your "tat" very inspirational and treasure the few atcs I have from your docraft trading days. Thanks for playing along with TT this week x Janet
