Crafters are a generous lot....

Yesterday the postie delivered a parcel from Debbie Moore..... I knew I hadn't ordered anything (cos OH would probably divorce me if I did LOL) but inside was 2 pots of Magic Metal and 3 pots of Enamel. I had used Magic metal before but never the enamel...... was on my wish list and there were a present from a very special friend who just wanted to cheer me up, bless her she certainly did! I'm not a terribly emotional person, but she reduced me to tears! What great people crafters are. The only downside was that they arrived just before I was off to work so no time to play, but I had a play this morning. The colours she choose for me just led me to going Oriental, which is not something I usually do, but I am pleased with the result.
The great thing about Magic Metal/Enamel is that it is not so brittle as UTEE so you can cut/punch it once it is melted (well it says you can punch it on the directions and I am sure you can IF you have a punch deep enough to put it in!) I have used Sizzix paddle punches on it though. Not sure these pictures do it justice, but at least you can't see where I spilt a pot of glue over it!!! Thank heavens for baby wipes!!!
