So its time to share April's Calender Challenge with you all. If you dont know what on earth I am on about, hope to to The Kathryn Wheel and all will become clear. I went a bit brighter and lighter this month since spring is on it's way, gessoed the page and then lightly over-stamped it with a script stamp, which is very subtle. The blocks for each daily entry were made by inking through a homemade 'stencil' - well stencil is abit posh - I made a rough hole in a bit of card and used distress inks to ink through it, twisting and turning it randomly to add a bit of interest. You will have noticed another of my new Octopode Factory stamps - the dastardly woman had brought out some more, I can hear my visa card groaning as we speak.
I suspect May may mention a certain exciting event that is happening in May for us as a family - we are having yet another addition to the family.... meet Marzie ...
Oh Marzie...chocolate and cutie...how lovely and lucky you and she are! Love your May pages..the idea of writing in the boxes is genius...such a skill - knowing when to stop...I'd have panicked and wiped it all into a fuzz, I know I would've!
