Smug WOYWW

Not being known for being completely organised, I am proud to announce that I have made, finished and packed up my PIF, ready for post NEXT week - that's one week ahead of schedule - that's previously unknown organisation in the world of Nicks

The desk today is also quite boringly tidy cos I had a visitor yesterday, an old school friend with whom I was reunited via Facebook - FB has alot of faults, but its got lots of good points! So here is a picture of my desk on Friday AFTER (yes AFTER) I had finished making the PIF, if you look very carefully you may just catch a  snippet of the PIF (have I mentioned that I have finished it??) but the rules of the game state that we can't blog  it before the day - so I haven't if you have no idea what I am talking about re 'PIF's' it a Pass it Forward bit of fun in celebration of two whole years of WOYWW or if you prefer 104 weeks of sharing desks. What I can share with you is a card I made using (surprise surprise) a new 'Octopode Factory' stamp. Meet Dorothy from the new Wizard of Oz collection.


I had all but given up making cards recently, but since doing a bit of Journaling and applying some of the techniques I have learnt and applying them to making cards I have started to enjoy it again.


Thing is I made the card and then found I didn't have a big enough envelope - so I just wrapped the card up instead!

Oh and just because I am feeling in a naughty and rebellious mood here are a couple of sneaky peaks of the PIF (which BTW, I have finished) 



(don't tell Julia the WOYWW queen, she may slap my wrists)

    HA - loving the sneak peeks - it doesn't look finished to me - a bit, well, thin?!! Can't wait to see it. Your desk looks as if you've been elsewhere - interested that you keep a little tray for bits and bobs, does it ever get emptied?
