Well Hello There!!

what a bad blogger I have been.... well not so much a bad blogger as a mojo less artiste! Haven't been near my desk all summer - but now its more or less Autumn and with the start of a new online course with Sir Andy Skinner I am back.

Its been an interesting few months, Matt and I celebrated our Silver Wedding - where has the time gone?? and we took a family holiday to Egypt to celebrate. That was certainly an eye opener for the kids! Matt and I went back packing in Egypt 26 years ago, and nothing much has changed in those years - except us! When we travelled there and stayed in dirt cheap dives (free fleas with every bed) we sneered at the tourists staying in luxury hotels and cruising along the Nile 'they aren't seeing the REAL Egypt' we said haughtily - a few years we later we are staying in luxury hotels and cruising along the Nile - and very nice it was too!

In the last few months we have been having Edward diagnosed with suspected Absence Epilepsy, 2 EEG's and 3 full blown seizures later (one in the middle of Luxor Temple!) he has been diagnosed with full on Epilepsy. Not what we wanted to hear but thats immaterial, he has coped with it really well and is now on medication and so far so good.

On a good note, you may remember that our dog Marzie had a pretty serious road traffic accident, well she went for her final check up with her surgeon today and in his own words was 'astonished and delighted' at her recovery... he is a hero in this house! Please pleas pleas if you have a pet get it insured, our bill is now at around £7000, gooodness knows what we would have done if we weren't insured.

Anyway enough rambling from me, back to this new course I am doing with Sir S, its called Outcasts.. thats cos we are casting..

Here are my first efforts..

Its all great fun.. loads of ideas swimming round my head, all I need to do it clear up the mess I have already made .....

See you soon... promise not to leave it so long next time xxx
