I've had a word with the talented Elizabeth who is running the online course I am doing,
re the stupidly obvious way of doing niches in a book...... well I had never thought of doing it this way even if the SSO claims she has done it that way "forever"
anyway take a look here.............. (Elizabeths Blog)

If it was so stupidly obvious why didn't any of us (or you-LOL) think of it????
ReplyDeleteDon't answer that!
you should give me a wee bit of credit for being intelligent once in a while - i know i am not as perfect as you but i do know soooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmme stuff you know - you should try and speak to me more than once a year ;0)~
ReplyDeleteGlad some of your readers were able to use the tutorial on my blog. Many people claim it's so much easier to glue the block to the back first, but I don't see the advantage. It's also easier to finish the block neatly if you are using something other than ink (such as paper, paper towel, or fabric). Glad I could be of some help.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicks for pointing us to this great tutorial - I made the gluing the block to the back of the book mistake - what a hassle! This is much better!
ReplyDeleteWell, this got me thinking what other workouts are good for those of us who find ourselves on the road or have limited equipment options. bo parfet
