Someday, the altered art you make today will be
old, faded, falling apart, and someone else will salvage the bits and use them
in new altered art.It's the best that any piece of art can hope for

Niches..... In my altered book!

I've had a word with the talented Elizabeth who is running the online course I am doing,
re the stupidly obvious way of doing niches in a book...... well I had never thought of doing it this way even if the SSO claims she has done it that way "forever"

    Glad some of your readers were able to use the tutorial on my blog. Many people claim it's so much easier to glue the block to the back first, but I don't see the advantage. It's also easier to finish the block neatly if you are using something other than ink (such as paper, paper towel, or fabric). Glad I could be of some help.

    Thanks Nicks for pointing us to this great tutorial - I made the gluing the block to the back of the book mistake - what a hassle! This is much better!
