WOYWW WHIB?

Where Have I Been......? Apologies to all my WOYWW friends but I have been AWOL over the summer holidays. Its all been very chaotic here and to be truthful my desk didn't see any arty work until last weekend and was just a dumping ground, so I had nothing to share with you. But I thought i better make the effort today in a vain hope that it may kick-start me into finding my Mojo again.

So what's on my desk?  Well I am not letting you get too close because I am getting some bits and pieces together so that I can finish off the Board Book as shown in my last blog post. So no zooming in close cos it might be for you!
So actually thinking about it, this is not really an exciting post is it? However I did get a bit excited yesterday when I went to Norwich to collect my new contact lenses (ha-ha I can see you properly now) and was a few minutes early so I popped into The Works. I found there a roll of artists canvas - bargain 2m for £1.99. Not sure what I will do with it but I am sure it will come in handy, just like all the other tat in my craft room. Talking of tat, I have a tendency (hence the title of my blog) to call my work tat. I do occasionally get told off for this because apparently I am not positive enough about my tat  stuff  work, but I had an email from someone yesterday who though Tat was an acronym, for Tasteful And Talented - not sure that fits either, but hey a nice thing to say.

Well best be off to my weekly weigh in - not looking forward to that, and then I am coming back to have a 'me' day. Hopefully tomorrow my MIL will be discharged from hospital, she has given us a few days of worry and will need some TLC when she gets home so today may be my last day to play properly for a while so I am going to make the most of it!

Anyone fancy a challenge?? Take a look here for a fab and exciting idea, I'm going to play along, why dont you?

  1. Think TAT is a great acronym for what you do. It is far from tat :-) Hope MIL is soon much better.

  9. I'm glad to see you back on the WOYWW circuit. I know it's been a busy high-flying summer for you, so it's good to see you grounded once again (grin). Your desk looks really quite tidy, so I hope your mojo is back soon. I stopped by the challenge blog, but there were too many rules for me (grin). Sounds fun, though. Hope you had a great WOYWW.
