Well if you had come yesterday.....

you could have seen my desk pristine and lovely ...... yesterday it was a complete tip as I have been working on a project for The Artistic Stamper Blog which you can see next week ...... then I decided that I really ought to tidy up because
a) I have almost finished it
b) Our accountant was coming round to talk about the dreaded T** word.
So I thought he may like somewhere to sit in the combined CRAFTROOM/office. But then he had to cancel so I started another project and so its now not quite so pristine

Well that's my story and I am sticking to it!

So here is the desk today!

We have the finishing touch for the project I have been working on - well its not quite finished obviously! and  I have resurrected a Fiskars Shape cutter template - one of my first purchases when I started cardmaking many years ago. Its a Tag template which I hope to use for my SIL's wedding favours - I just need to find the shapecutter and hope I don't make a mess of cutting them out - I cant say it was one of my best purchases. ( I remember a tip, if you are left- handed go anti-clockwise and if you are right handed go clockwise... or was it if you are left-handed go clockwise and right handed go anti-clockwise...??? Mmmmm i seem to remember it was a good tip, I just cant remember the actual tip)
Anyway lets move on, I have got one of the Conical vase thingummies out ready to do something with and string and ..... Oh my look at that paintbrush, its cover in PVA ... I better go and clean it before I ruin yet another brush!!

I hope to get around as many desks as I can this week, so I'll see you soon xxx

  2. oooh a project for The Artistic Stamper..yummy! you could just leave your brushes in water when you use them, I know not a good idea, but Claudine's Studio ones will take it ( just a thought)

  13. It looks tidy to me too! I managed to rescue this weekend's brush before it joined the ranks of the stiff PVA brushes...we must have so many of them between us. Hope that taxperson's heart is softened by art. ;-) Bernie #11

  26. I used my neighbor's shape cutter template a few years ago and I couldn't get it to work worth a hoot. I had all kinds of issues with the blade even when it was brand new. Also, I think I nicked the plastic with the blade. I really hope you have better luck than I had. Tidy-ish desk this week, dear. (#8)
