Someday, the altered art you make today will be
old, faded, falling apart, and someone else will salvage the bits and use them
in new altered art. It's the best that any piece of art can hope for

Waste Not Want Not!!

I just love this background!! It is in fact a piece of kitchen roll that was lying on my desk after I had made a few tags and had been used to blot the inks/paint. It was already well scrunched so I flattened it out and stuck it to the mountboard, being careful not to flatten it out too much. Once it was dry I swiped versamark over the top, just enough to catch the wrinkles and then sprinkled with embossing powder. Added Santa and some beads!

Todays treat?? same as yesterday, I'm wiv me bessie, so its all a treat!

  3. You really came up with a great little piece of art...however; that little saying, "Waste not, want not" has gotten me into a lot of trouble over the years in my studio..which is now brimming full of those unwasted items!
