DD George and I both received copies of 'Wreck this Journal' in our Christmas Stocking, and have decided it will be a joint Mum/Daughter project this year. Anyone else wrecking?
I honestly didnt think it would be so scary to get going! But eventually we have started - it really does go against the grain to wreck a book, but it is very therapeutic and liberating! I have made some 'stand alone' pages at the top of this blog, so will record our 'journey' there - please feel free to have a look throughout the year.
arrgghhh this bit hurt!! but it did say do a sudden potentially destructive action with your book....
throwing it across the room is actually destructive!
and this is what happened when we passed the books over to Matt and Ed
I am also using another 'page' to post pictures of my Journal - I have set myself the challenge of completing a Calendar Journal in 2011. I'll tell you this time next year whether or not I succeeded!
Yaaayyy! Off the starting blocks and away! lol
ReplyDeleteOh this looks like it could be fun, i must investigate further...
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean I have to blog mine?! lol
ReplyDeleteI have already thrown it under the car and driven over it! lol
NO NO NO a thousand times NOOOOOOOOO my heart lurched when I saw Wrecking your Journal and when I saw this I could have cried Nicks....boo hoo. Loving your calendar page. Wishing you all a very Happy New Year despite this new destructive phase.......lol xx

I was so inspired by your Wreck this Journal post that I rushed off to Amazon and have ordered 2 - one for me and one for my DD!! It looks such fun, and I can't wait for them to arrive. I shall look forward to seeing what else you both come up with.
