Happy Birthday Treacle...

   Its the Bessie's Birthday today, so I thought I better make her something - but gawd knows she has enough of my old tat in her house - but hard luck you have a bit more matey cos you are too difficult to buy for!

Hope she didnt open it before today!

Now, there is nothing like making work for yourself and this was everything like making work for myself

Jennie AKA The Artistic Stamper was shrinking the other day and that reminded me of a little project I once saw and always wanted to have a go at - It was many moons ago I saw it and now I can't remember where, so it was done from memory, so it may not be anything like the original project, in fact I may have imagined it!

It started off as just a little trinket - a shrink plastic book, with a mini- book inside

I then decided that I should really put it inside a box, but I couldnt be bothered to make one... on my desk was an old Readers Digest Book, I got a job lot of them given me a while ago and I have altered a couple before. So instead of going to the trouble of making a box (15mins max?) I cut a hole in the pages in which the shrink plastic book could sit, and then altered the book (several hours) - so where's the sense in that??

You may notice that I have used some more 'The Octopode Factory' Stamps from the Alice in Wonderland collection - Tweedledee and Tweedledum, sums us two up! - I had word last week that 3D Jean had some new ones in - the new 'Wizard of Oz' series - some happened to fall in my basket - strange how that happens!

So - it's Happy Birthday Sparkles aka Bessie aka TOD (the old dear) aka Treacle (cos I call most people I like that) aka Babs (when I want to annoy her) aka lots of other names when she annoys me.
