Someday, the altered art you make today will be
old, faded, falling apart, and someone else will salvage the bits and use them
in new altered art. It's the best that any piece of art can hope for

Hello long time no speak, and not long to go!!

I've nothing in the crafty way to show you. Been a hectic few weeks, with the children being on holiday, I love them being at home but it does cut into my crafty time! Managed to get away on holiday last week, was a bit touch and go for a few days because our car must have heard that we were planning to change it as soon as we got back from holiday because it decided to blow up on us the week before and is now residing it the great mondeo graveyard in the sky, but we managed to swap the wreckage for the loan of another car for a couple of weeks, so off we went.

Ain't the cyberworld great! whilst on holiday we visited a dear friend who I had been chatting to for a few years via a forum/emails and she is as lovely in the real world as she is over the cyberwaves! (not that I was surprised!) she makes me laugh almost daily via here posts and as you can see she makes me laugh in person as well!

Didn't manage to visit a single craft shop whilst I was away - now that it BAD planning! But my husband who has never grown up, loves rocky rivers and building dam's and the children also love to spend hours jumping from rock to rock - Mum is a bit of a wimp, so stays safely on the riverbank - during one such trip I spotted this cool rock and had to bring it home to use somehow, now sure how but I will, and also this long forgotten fragment of something (?)

.... now aint that crying out to be the shoulders of a Art Doll, perhaps that will encourage me to get out the 'Whos Ya Dada' book I bought a while ago!

I maybe a scaredy cat when it comes to fast moving streams (heaven forbid I get my Birkies wet!!) but I'm not such a wuss when it comes to heights, which is why I am rather excited about my impending Bungee jump for The Camille's Appeal., but when you are faced with such  a brave and awesome little girl, and her brave and awesome family (have a look at her daddy's blog) whats 160ft at the top of a crane ??

here is Camille... aint she just beautiful??

If you can spare a quid or two or three or ten please sponsor me, and help Camille and children like her with Brain Tumours, but remember I'm not the brave one, they are and you are the kind one
THANK YOU

oh... and just in case you thought you had got away with it here's a few holiday shots!

The Highlight..

If you have got this far, you may have forgotten...
