A few WIP's and WOPS

WIP = works in progress and I don't know what WOP stands for but it sounded good! I also don't now (or cant remember to be more accurate) how I found Paula Phillips on the net, but boy I am glad I did! What an inspiration - if you love journalling you must have a browse of her blog and watch her YouTube videos, utter gorgeousness!

She isn't doing my bank balance much good though - today I took delivery of some Inktense pencils that I watched her demo - here is my first play. I literally snatched them from my lovely posties hands and started to play with them straight away - got so distracted I burnt the tea!

Here is the WIP I was talking about - again inspired by Paula -
Textured Gesso and Adirondack Colourwash - the bottom half was dried with a heat gun, the top half allowed to dry naturally - a marked difference!

Another Paula technique - Ghosted Gesso and Colourwash - picture doesn't do it justice!

another WIP - did this a while ago when I first got my water soluble wax pastels, my journal is full of half finished pages - they will be completed when inspiration strikes, but in the meantime they are just a record of me playing, experimenting and just have fun - its very 'freeing' this journalling lark!

enough of me, be sure to check out Paula's tutorials ...
