The Lady of the Forest

I started another online course with Andy Skinner last week with the wonderful title 'Evil Elixier' it is an altered bottle workshop, and here is my first project. Andy recommends having a 'stunt double' to practise on before (or whilst) you attempt your main project. So here is my 'stunt double'

It started life as a perfume bottle - obviously I couldn't throw it out when the perfume was all used up, but I didn't know what to do with it - until Mr Skinner raised his, not at all ugly head!
I had a head start with the shape of the bottle - obviously it was going to be a female of some description!
I am very happy with the end result - still have a lot to learn but so far so good!

Off to work on my next bottle today, need to keep my mind occupied. Didnt sleep last night as my beautiful dog ran out of the house last night, when my poor son opened the door to a visitor. She ran straight into the path of an oncoming car and was rushed to the vets, been there all night and we are waiting to hear about her today - they couldnt xray her last night as she was too swollen but its suspected that she has broken her leg - just want her home, the house is too quiet :-(

As for WOYWW..horrified that the unmounters have got to you!! Get the stamps out and re-jiggle the storage instead..I'm in a panic! LOVE your bottle, for a stunt double you've really made a great job..your workroom is looking more like an alchemists' every day!
