Someday, the altered art you make today will be
old, faded, falling apart, and someone else will salvage the bits and use them
in new altered art. It's the best that any piece of art can hope for

Not good for the teeth

Eating all these mints in order to get a nice tin to use......... recently did a 1;1 swap with a friend from Docrafts, she sent me the most awesome 'ATC'.... well not sure what she called it but it was ATC size. I though am a bit 'off' ATC's ATM, so asked if she would mind if I sent her something other than an ATC... so here it is.....

Georgina received a altered peppermint tin from her all time heroine Heidi, so of course I just had to get one to play with myself (just call me copycat)

I sandpapered the paint off and then gessoed it, the rest is just a mixture of paints, bits heated with the heatgun so that they bubbled... the inside is filled with Jewels which befits the 'King Tut & treasure' theme.
The good old faithful Cropodile came into it's own to cut a hole in the side, which is where I hung various 'charms'
I hope it is liked by it's soon to be owner!

All this was a welcome diversion from some bad news I received today, crafting is a terrific distraction, relaxation, therapy and just pure enjoyment when you are happy, in fact it fits all moods!...................... Long Live producing old tat!!
