Blog Candy offering..

Those of you who are kind enough to visit my blog fairly often may have read that it has recently been my blogging birthday, and in celebration of this great event (LOL) I offered some Blog Candy. Random.org picked out June as the 'winner' and this is the tat that I have made for her. I picked up some cheap frames from that famous Swedish store ages ago, in fact years! when i had some other grand plan for them but never got round to doing it. I came across one today and decided to have a play. The frame is covered with cream coloured metal from one of the most mouthwatering shops LBcrafts , most of the cream though has been sanded and 'duraglit'ed away, leaving just a hint of cream in the debossed bits. Then the frame was filled with a collage, including some tyvek -which I have to say I just don't get! but like the effect here. Then a bit of paint/moulds/wire and here it is. I hope June likes it!
June has also been kind enough to give me a Lemonade award
This Lemonade Award is given by a previous winner to 5 people who have shown a great attitude or gratitude. It’s a great way to show these people that you appreciate them.
I'm passing it onto
Astrid - for being such a nice person
Sian - for being such an inspiration
Carol - cos I am so chuffed that she has at long last started a blog cos the world needs to see her work
Cheryl - cos i just love her sense of humour
and
Sparky - for putting up with me and being my bessie x
If I could choose 6 people I would of course pick Heidi, just to annoy her and await her caustic comments about awards LOL
Well that's about it for today, apart from a few pictures of some handbag mirrors I have covered in metal, one for the Art Raffle and 3 for 3 special friends I spent the day with on Saturday....

Oh well since you asked I will add a picture of the aforementioned friends ... the handsome chap in the middle didn't get a mirror... he knows he is handsome without having to check!!
