old, faded, falling apart, and someone else will salvage the bits and use them

Birthday card???

Well it is in this house! Was the lovely and ever patient and very supportive Matthew's birthday yesterday, so this was his 'Birthday card' , OK so you may think it's another Chunky ATC, but it's not it's a card OK!

Matt absolutely loves his Chunky Metal covered block with an altered fork and a metal card on the back and was in the midst of saying it was much better than getting a card which would be put away after a few days when he had to change tack immediately as he realised the kids had just given him a beautiful handmade card!!

Hop you are all well and happy even with this miserable weather, oh for some warm sunshine!

  2. this is wicked!!! LOVE the fork :)

and you are lucky to have such an appreciative bloke, if I made this for my other half he would hate it! he doesn't "get" anything I do at all. Sob. If it's not a lifelike oil painting, it ain't art, apparently. grrr. :)

  4. Lucky Matt. We saw altered forks and spoons in Cuba (made into jewellery) - not a patch on your wonderful creation.
