Twice in as many hours!

 Posting that is........
Well..... I did go into the craft room with the sole and definite intent to tidy up, but I had a half finished project on the go, just a whimsical play for Hels Sunday stamper challenge - but I also needed an excuse to try out the new Eco Paints  that I took delivery of from The Altered Element this week.
I am well impressed with the paints, they are delicious! Problem is I need more colours!
So here is a little Bird house which I bought yonks ago at Ally Pally and have never got round to using, as the challenge was Birds and as I was waiting for this new rather whimsical  Karantha moulding mat the two went rather hand in hand, esp as I really had to try out my new (well new to me) clay oven, so I got my clay out as well. So here it is ... and no smart alec comments about Kingfishers not using bird house as my DH has already pointed that out, but its artistic licence OK????? lol

Unfortunately in the making of this project two trays of shortbread were burned.....

  7. I have been eyeing up some of those moulds, not the bird ones though, they look deliciously deep and your birdies have proved it, I am just popping into a certain web shop....!

  9. Nick - I wrote you this massive, wonderful, big ar@#$%ssed comment and guess what blogger did? Arrrgghhh! Anyway, I just wanted to say how much I love it when you tidy up your studio, as this is always the result: another amazing, finsihed piece to show off to the world!
I also wanted to say that I have linked you from my Barter Circle blog: http://thebartercircle.blogspot.com/2010/04/recycling-old-stuff.html
Scroll right down and let me know if those images are alright up there? I couldn't help myself, they were way too gorgeous to not post!!
