Ecky Thump its WOYWW again!

Doesn't it come round quickly... and like Murphy's law my desk is always spotless apart from on Wednesday's (fingers crossed behind my back as we speak)

The weather has been a bit too nice for too much crafting, but I have cobbled together a little pressie for a friend which I can post later in the week once she has received it, that accounts for most of the mess (creative mess!) here, but you can also see a couple of stamps I treated myself to in the Scrapz Sale - sadly I missed out on the stamp I really wanted but the Angels Stamp you can see here is my all time favourite stamp- well the smaller version is, and I have used it loads and loads, so I am hoping that I will be using this larger one just as much, but I am not too sure I like the numbers at the top ?????
Anyway I made a very quick get well card for my Aunt who was discharged from hospital yesterday after having a ten hour OP at Addenbrookes on Friday to remove a Tumour from her Brain Stem, geeezzzz they get people home quickly these days!
Not my usual kind of card, but I think she will like it!

Now off to my Slimming class, but will catch up on a few desks later, sorry there is no way I can get round everybody these days as Julia's baby has grown and grown, I visit as many as I can but its all very random clicking on the Mr Linky List!

  12. I have a similar stamp and agree - I think it's somehow nicer without the numbers? she's so soft and the numbers are so hard?

please tell me your Aunt was given an advice sheet? I agree we send people home too soon...

  14. That sounds like a scarily fast discharge from hospital, but that's what they do nowdays. My Mum in law was discharged 3 hrs after being moved out of intensive care following an op to repair a ruptured anyurism ( she is in her 80's too) I was disgusted!
