Doesn't it come round quickly... and like Murphy's law my desk is always spotless apart from on Wednesday's (fingers crossed behind my back as we speak)
Anyway I made a very quick get well card for my Aunt who was discharged from hospital yesterday after having a ten hour OP at Addenbrookes on Friday to remove a Tumour from her Brain Stem, geeezzzz they get people home quickly these days!
Not my usual kind of card, but I think she will like it!
Now off to my Slimming class, but will catch up on a few desks later, sorry there is no way I can get round everybody these days as Julia's baby has grown and grown, I visit as many as I can but its all very random clicking on the Mr Linky List!
I too love that stamp and i nearly surcome and got the larger one but i resisted.. lol hope you get lots of use from it, i envy your desk.. it looks like lots of fun is being had..unlike mine lol
ReplyDeleteNice and messy desk today missus! :))) like the card

ReplyDeleteI have a similar stamp and agree - I think it's somehow nicer without the numbers? she's so soft and the numbers are so hard?

That sounds like a scarily fast discharge from hospital, but that's what they do nowdays. My Mum in law was discharged 3 hrs after being moved out of intensive care following an op to repair a ruptured anyurism ( she is in her 80's too) I was disgusted!
ReplyDeletelove the busy desk, and the card is great she will love it, hope she is well on the way to recovery.
